Your dog's first two years are an important time for learning and development. The experiences they have as a puppy shape their behaviour, temperament and health. How you guide and support them lays the foundation for your relationship.
Older dogs enjoy learning too. With the right motivation, dogs of all ages can learn new skills. Activities suited to your dog are an important part of training. It's never too late to help your dog enjoy a better quality of life.

About me
My own Labrador, Baloo, led me to become a dog trainer and behaviour consultant. When we were struggling, finding the right support was difficult. I had plenty of questions and often felt confused. That experience inspired me to study dog training and behaviour, and I now support other owners facing similar challenges.
I explain the theory in plain language so you understand both what to do and why it matters. Together, we'll work towards lasting changes and the goals you have for your dog.
I continue to develop my skills through regular courses and keep up with research in dog training and behaviour.
Ian gives instructions and information clearly and simply; we try things out and get direct feedback. Ian quickly understood which images and explanations helped me remember and find them relevant. This means I remember the instructions and understand why we do the training. Step by step, Kira got used to being brushed, after previously biting the brush and running away at the sight of it. We have also worked on general obedience and specifically relativity, and are seeing very good progress. Ian is warmly recommended!
Stine NilsenWhen we got our puppy, Rob helped us right from the start. Before the puppy arrived, Rob visited, gave advice on helping the puppy become part of the family and explained how we could start training straight away. He has continued to give good advice, willingly answers all our questions and helps us understand our dog’s language and ability to learn. Through weekly training, he gives individual guidance and support to both dog and owner. An absolutely fantastic resource for us as new owners of a six-month-old Buhund!
Marianne SamuelWhen Molly, a Cocker Spaniel/Breton mix, joined our family of five, Rob gave us a home consultation with practical advice to keep both the dog and the family safe. This invaluable advice steered us away from probable chaos 🙂
Molly is now six months old and always looks forward to weekly training with Rob and other dogs. This gives both dogs and owners a sense of achievement and is highly recommended.
Sten Kristian Schiøtz SolsethTailored, solution-focused training for both dog and owner, with an emphasis on positive reinforcement of behaviour. Good follow-up from a knowledgeable and patient trainer 🙂
